A2A Security Agency Inc. is seeking reliable and professional On-Call Security Guards to cover shift gaps, respond to emergencies, and handle last-minute staffing needs throughout Austin. As an on-call guard, you will be deployed to various client locations, providing essential security coverage when it is most needed.

This role is ideal for experienced security professionals who thrive on flexibility, can respond swiftly, and adapt to diverse environments and instructions on short notice.

Key Responsibilities

• Promptly respond to on-call dispatch requests and arrive at designated locations within the required timeframe.

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence at assigned posts, including entrances, lobbies, parking lots, and perimeters.

• Monitor locations for unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, safety risks, and violations of policy.

• Conduct access control and validate credentials, visitor logs, or authorizations as needed.

• Help de-escalate incidents with a calm and professional approach.

• Address disturbances, medical emergencies, or evacuations according to site protocols.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors using assigned communication tools like radios or phones.

• Complete detailed incident and activity reports as required.

Qualifications

• A valid Texas Security Guard License is required.

• Must be able to respond quickly on short notice and report to various locations as needed.

• Previous experience in a security role is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
