Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to on-call dispatch requests and ensure timely arrival at designated locations.
• Maintain a professional security presence at site locations such as entrances, lobbies, parking lots, and boundaries.
• Monitor for unauthorized access, unusual behaviors, and potential safety hazards.
• Control access and verify credentials, visitor logs, or permissions when required.
• De-escalate incidents and manage disturbances, medical situations, or evacuations according to established guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors using radios or mobile devices.
• Prepare accurate incident and activity reports as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Texas Security Guard License.
• Quick response capability to different locations on short notice.
• Previous security experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

• Oversee access control systems for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while keeping detailed logs.
• React promptly to security incidents, utilizing de-escalation techniques to handle conflicts professionally.
• Create thorough incident reports detailing any breaches, accidents, or unusual situations.
• Aid in background checks for new employees or vendors during onboarding.
• Follow emergency response protocols, including CPR, AED operation, Taser use (if applicable), and fire safety procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during emergencies by providing necessary support and information.
• Perform physical duties, including heavy lifting when required to secure premises.
• Regularly check the functionality of security equipment, including cameras, access systems, and alarms.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing visitor inquiries while ensuring security protocols are adhered to.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience in physical security, law enforcement, military, or similar fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance technology, including CCTV and access control systems.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, and AED operation is advantageous.
• Capable of performing physical tasks, including heavy lifting as needed.
• Strong report writing skills with an emphasis on detail and clarity.
• Proficient in conflict management and de-escalation strategies, with experience working alongside law enforcement.
• Knowledge of security regulations, compliance standards, and loss prevention practices is beneficial.
• Proven ability to conduct effective patrols in diverse environments.
• Certifications for firearm handling or Taser use are a plus but not required.
