A2A Security Agency Inc. is looking for dependable, professional On-Call Security Guards to cover shift gaps, emergency placements, and last-minute assignments across New York City. As an on-call guard, you will be deployed to a variety of client sites — including corporate offices, residential buildings, retail locations, construction sites, and event venues — providing immediate, reliable coverage when it's needed most.

This role is ideal for experienced security professionals who are flexible, quick to respond, and able to adapt to different environments and post orders on short notice.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to on-call dispatch requests and report to assigned sites within the required timeframe.

Provide a visible, professional security presence at assigned posts including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeters.

Monitor premises for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations.

Perform access control and verify credentials, visitor logs, or authorizations as directed.

Assist with de-escalation of incidents in a calm and professional manner.

Respond to disturbances, medical emergencies, or evacuations in accordance with site procedures.

Communicate clearly with supervisors using radio, phone, or other assigned communication tools.

Complete accurate incident and activity reports as required.

Requirements

Valid New York State Security Guard Registration Card — mandatory.

Ability to respond on short notice and report to various sites across New York City.

Minimum 1–2 years of professional security experience preferred.

Flexible availability including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Professional appearance, strong communication skills, and a reliable work ethic.

Comfortable standing, walking, and remaining alert for extended periods.

Ability to quickly adapt to new environments, post orders, and client expectations.

F-02 Fire Guard Certificate is a strong asset.
