Key Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor store activities utilizing CCTV and other surveillance equipment to prevent theft or vandalism.
• Conduct regular patrols throughout the store, focusing on high-value sections to enforce security protocols and ensure safety compliance.
• Oversee entry points with advanced access control systems, verifying the credentials of employees, vendors, and visitors to maintain security standards.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by following established procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED application, and liaising with emergency services as necessary.
• Prepare accurate documentation of incidents in reports, noting any security breaches, unusual behaviors, or safety concerns encountered during your shift.
• Carry out background checks for prospective hires or vendors to ensure adherence to security policies.
• Execute loss prevention tactics by evaluating theft risks and implementing preventive measures in accordance with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in security roles, ideally in luxury retail, law enforcement, military, or related fields.
• Comprehensive understanding of surveillance systems, including CCTV and access control technology.
• Preferred certifications in first aid, CPR, AED, and Taser usage; must be capable of handling medical emergencies effectively.
• Physically fit to perform tasks requiring lifting and prolonged patrols while maintaining vigilance.
• Strong conflict resolution abilities with efficient strategies to de-escalate potential confrontations.
• Knowledge of emergency response protocols and safety regulations related to fire safety and lifting operations.
• Proficient in writing clear and precise incident reports immediately following any occurrences or irregularities.
• Awareness of legal responsibilities concerning security practices and compliance in luxury retail settings.
